Illegal Immigrants deported | How this impacts your portfolio

Could DCA into ETFs over multiple Sectors be the answer? US Arrests Over 500 Illegal Immigrants, Deports Hundreds Using Military Aircraft. Illegal immigrants often take low-wage jobs in sectors like agriculture, construction, and service industries. While they may not contribute taxes directly, their labor helps keep costs down for certain industries, which can benefit companies in those sectors. Lower labor costs could translate into better profit margins, which might positively influence stock prices in companies that rely on low-cost labor.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said that the US authorities have arrested 538 illegal migrants and deported hundreds using a military aircraft.

Washington, United States:
Under the newly inaugurated Trump administration, authorities have begun intensifying efforts to address illegal immigration, targeting individuals who have risked everything in pursuit of the American dream. In a large-scale operation conducted just three days after the new administration took office, hundreds of undocumented migrants were arrested and deported.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt revealed that U.S. authorities had detained 538 undocumented migrants and deported many of them using military aircraft.

“The Trump administration has apprehended 538 illegal immigrant criminals, including a suspected terrorist, four members of the Tren de Aragua gang, and several individuals convicted of sex crimes against minors,” Leavitt stated in an online post on Thursday. “Hundreds of these individuals were deported via military aircraft. The largest deportation operation in history is underway. Promises made, promises kept,” she added.

The White House also shared details highlighting the administration’s efforts to secure the nation’s borders. A “small preview” of the operation included the names of several individuals arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, along with the crimes they were accused or convicted of, which ranged from rape to sexual abuse of minors, including continuous sexual abuse of children under the age of 14.

After the inaugural ceremony on January 20, U.S. President Donald Trump signed several executive orders, including one titled "Protecting the American People Against Invasion." The order asserts that over the past four years, the United States experienced an unprecedented surge in illegal immigration. It claims that "millions of illegal aliens crossed our borders or entered the country on commercial flights, subsequently settling in American communities in violation of longstanding federal laws.

The government order further asserts that many of these "aliens unlawfully within the United States" pose significant "threats to national security and public safety," engaging in serious and violent acts against innocent Americans.

On January 23, the U.S. Congress approved a GOP-led bill, the Laken Riley Act, which focuses on the detention and deportation of undocumented migrants who enter the country without authorization and are charged with specific crimes.

How Illegal Immigrants impact the Market

Housing, Medical & Jobs

This is what I call the "Illegal Triple Threat". Hospitals overwhelmed, Housing market price gouging and available Jobs. These are all things caused by a direct impact of an influx of unexpected or unaccounted numbers. So taking into account the "per capita" in relation to over 13 million estimated people who shouldn't be here is the problem. It's a triple effect, you can't force overuse of infrastructures without the foundation to accommodate the extra volume of folks. If that's not bad enough, let's talk about schools. If you're a parent, how'd it make you feel to know your kids is not getting the necessary attention, at no fault of the kid, the classroom is too crowded. Too crowd statically to be successful. What about teachers, you can honestly believe that a kid that does speak English would benefit from being there. Has it come to the point where American public schools will be asked to produce bi-lingual curriculum for kids who shouldn't even be here, that's insane to me. Why are we doing this, where is the common sense? We've turn into a nation that gives driver licenses to people who can't speak, read or write English🤔. "Never in a million years"

Who pays the price?

Your Tax dollars

He's another Triple Threat, but this time it's taxes, money and sector decline. Yes your dollars picking up the tab, your money no longer stretching to next payday and sectors like Healthcare taking a beating. While I would consider the Healthcare sector recession proof, it's still not without it's volatility. Especially when the infrastructure isn't build to unexpectedly take on the additional volume, this means longer and wider Market downturns. So yes, absolutely this impacts the Market and as a result, could be a direct impact to your Portfolio.

Final Thought

The Trump administration and newly implemented polices will slowly over time offset everything I outlined above. So no worries, keep investing. Consider Dollar Cost Averaging into ETFs over multiple sectors to help minimize losses and unexplainable Market downturns. What's next for new Investors?
